Ground rules for using FamilyFeed.

Acceptance and eligibility

  • Agreement to these terms

    By accessing or using FamilyFeed, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

  • Minimum age

    You must be at least 13 years old to create or use an account. Adults may add children, pets, or other household profiles to a family without creating separate logins for them.

  • Authority to join a family

    If you create or manage a family hub, you confirm that you have authority to add members and share household information within that space.

Your account and family hub

  • Account security

    You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity that happens through your account.

  • Admin responsibilities

    Family admins can invite adults, create child or pet profiles, manage access, and remove members. Admin actions can affect shared household content for everyone in the family hub.

  • Family deletion

    Admins can delete the family, which removes shared lists, appointments, ToDos, events, posts, and member access. Once deleted, that shared family space cannot be recovered.

Service availability and early access

  • Early access service

    FamilyFeed is currently offered free during early access. Features, limits, and availability may change as we improve the service.

  • Future paid features

    If we introduce paid plans later, we will publish the applicable pricing, billing, and renewal terms before those plans apply to you.

  • No guarantee of uninterrupted access

    We work to keep FamilyFeed available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, instant syncing, or error-free reminders, notifications, or uploads.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse FamilyFeed or use it in a way that harms other users, the service, or third parties.

  • Illegal or harmful activity

    Do not use FamilyFeed for unlawful conduct, harassment, threats, stalking, impersonation, exploitation of minors, or sharing abusive, deceptive, or infringing content.

  • Platform abuse

    Do not attempt to scrape, reverse engineer, probe, disrupt, overload, or bypass the security of FamilyFeed, including its bots, APIs, and authentication systems.

  • Rights and permissions

    Only upload or share content you have the right to use, including photos, names, notes, event details, and household information about others.

Your content and our rights

  • You keep ownership

    You retain ownership of the content you create or upload to FamilyFeed.

  • Limited license to operate the service

    You grant FamilyFeed a limited license to host, store, process, transmit, display, and back up your content only as needed to run the service, sync your family hub, and show content to the people you choose.

  • Public marketing use

    We do not use your private family content in marketing without your separate permission.

AI, bots, reminders, and suggestions

  • Informational assistance only

    FamilyFeed bots, summaries, reminders, suggestions, and AI-assisted features are designed to help organize family information. They are informational tools only and may be incomplete, delayed, or incorrect.

  • Human review still matters

    You remain responsible for reviewing important appointments, lists, due dates, reminders, and family updates before relying on them.

  • Not professional or emergency support

    FamilyFeed is not a medical, emergency, legal, or professional advice service and should not be used as the sole basis for urgent or high-risk decisions.

Suspension, termination, and deletion

  • Your choice to leave

    You may stop using FamilyFeed at any time, and you may request account or content deletion subject to our system and legal retention requirements described in our Privacy Policy.

  • Our right to suspend misuse

    We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you violated these terms, harmed other users, abused the platform, or created security or legal risk.

  • Effect of termination

    After suspension or termination, access to your account, family hub, or shared content may be limited or removed.

Disclaimers and limits on liability

  • Service provided as available

    To the extent permitted by law, FamilyFeed is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without guarantees that the service will always be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

  • Limits on damages

    To the extent permitted by law, FamilyFeed Pty Ltd will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or opportunities arising from your use of the service.

  • Non-excludable rights

    Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including consumer guarantees that apply under Australian law.

Governing law and contact

  • Governing law

    These terms are governed by FamilyFeed privacy policy. You agree that courts located in Melbourne, Victoria will have jurisdiction over disputes relating to these terms or the service, subject to any rights you have under applicable consumer law.

  • Updates to these terms

    We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date on this page and may provide additional notice inside the service.
