How does AskAI help with family planning?
AskAI turns messy thoughts, text messages, emails, and notes into structured drafts for family events, lists, reminders, and appointments.
What happens if I do not start a new conversation?
If you keep asking new things without clearing the previous conversation, AskAI may confuse the old request with the new one and produce less accurate results. Starting a new conversation also helps keep prompts shorter and uses fewer tokens.
Can I trust the dates and times AskAI creates?
AskAI knows your current date and time, but you should still review every draft before saving it to your family plan.
What can't I ask AskAI to do?
AskAI cannot delete or modify existing appointments, entire lists, or entire events. However, it can delete one or more list items or event todos when you provide the exact item or todo names. Search is on our roadmap, but it is not available yet.
Can I create a list while I am in the Events tab?
No. AskAI works from the current FamilyFeed context. If you ask for something outside the active tab, it rejects the request with a clear message.
Is FamilyFeed sharing my family data with OpenAI?
No. Only the prompt you type is sent to generate a draft. Saved family data such as lists, appointments, events, and ToDos is not shared with OpenAI.
Can I ask AskAI for anything outside FamilyFeed?
No. AskAI stays within the FamilyFeed context. It responds with a message such as: "I can help with FamilyFeed appointments, lists, events, todos, and family updates. Let me know if you want to create or manage an appointment."
